Cannot find option to purchase and terms of use
« on: February 23, 2015, 09:50:15 PM »
Greetings - want to get Levertine but cannot find the purchase area and the terms of use associated with purchase.

Also, is this for one domain only?  If so is there consideration for a dev install as well?

Thank you
Ron

The purchase page is located here.

As far as Terms,  I cannot find any either.

Thank you ARG - I should have seen that but ...

It appears from the purchase option that it is available for one domain but I'll try and find out if testing on a dev site is kosher.

All the best and thanks aga

When I asked, Pete said.

Local installs are fine, as many as you like basically, but anything you run that is publically accessible is one licence per site.

So will "local" installs cover me during the development of the site before it goes live?  Thata's all I needed to know, don't want to infringe or anything, just looking for some clarity - more than this coffee is giving me anyway!

Thanks all for the feedback.

All the best
Ron

Yes, it would. Basically the idea was one licence per active domain - testing etc. is fine to not have a separate licence for.

Though in all honesty I'm not encouraging new sales at the moment simply because between the new job I had to start to pay the bills, plus being ill of late, I haven't done anything on LevGal in about a month now and can't guarantee when I'll be able to work on it again. Having a full 9-5 day plus 2-3 hours commute each way means a real lack of time to do anything except get home, do dinner and go to bed, and by the time I get to the weekend all I want to do is sleep :(

I am very familiar with that situation - actually, it wasn't the 9-5 that was bad it's that long commute time that's a killer.  2-3 hours a day is what I had to do when I lived in the Los Angeles area (where I am from) and the 5  days x 2.5 hours each = 12.5 a week x 4 weeks = 50 hours is like working an extra week a month with no pay!  The government already takes about that much too so we get screwed either way.  Sorry to hear you're suffering that in your life and appreciate your honesty.

All the best,
Ron
