Caution FileZilla Update

My FileZilla Just did and auto up date and now I can not get in any of my site or those I manger fro others, try many thing, now luck, still at so you may hold off updates till the problem solve.

@ error:
says no certificates are valid on any sites and say > doing the wiz FZ check says MY inter IP is no good.

Another note, just did window 7 update prior to this, that may have some issues?

OK did Win system restore to point before Winz update had to ( same time as the FileZilla update and all works with FileZilla, it ask me to update again and said no, but now I need to the the Winz updates again, security patches. Hoping it goes well!

For the record I don't use FileZilla unless I absolutely have to, I much prefer WinSCP.

Cool thanks for the share... I installed and it took all my info from Filezilla all is well with that, it did come with baggage ware I to remove but that with all things now days!

Interesting. I had already done both the Windows updates and the FileZilla update and haven't had any problems.

And Arantor, is WinSCP personal preference or are there other reasons?

Two reasons - firstly, most of my stuff is behind SFTP rather than FTP and WinSCP is more reliable there and secondly, WinSCP does not pull the 'files with no extension are text by default' stunt FZ does.

I find it much easier to list all HDD files as well as site files without jumpy through hoops, loads faster and solid- imports you FileZilla Settings and that just begging, getting t]late for this old man!

Some servers are a bit finicky about WinSCP and it definitely isn't as shiny as FileZilla but it usually seems to work better for me

Supported by FZ. I use explicit TLS.

If you are having problem with connecting your site go Site Manager and check Encyrption, try with insecure connection.

Have they stopped saving configuration details in plaintext yet? Also, integrated PuTTY support?

Btw, to the OP, there's been another update to FileZilla so I don't know if that will fix your problem or not. Just letting you know.

I went back to the older version and also down load Pete's suggestion and it migrated all the FZ setting to it so I'm good to go... and something tells be I had A bug in my PC ? but not sure!
